Artifact Releases New Version of Lighthouse Premium

Columbia, MD—September 10, 2007 –Artifact Software, Inc., today released an upgrade to Lighthouse, its popular Software Development Management solution.  The new version, called La Jolla, lets users completely customize Lighthouse to suit their methodologies and needs. Users can now add fields, change existing fields, provide branding, create custom reports, and much more. 

This feature upgrade is part of Lighthouse Premium, which is offered as a subscription service.  A free thirty (30) day trial is available so that users can evaluate the new features before committing to the subscription service. Lighthouse Premium also includes a Service Level Agreement (SLA), Premium Customer Service, Custom Reporting, Branding, Notifications and Roles, and much more.

Lighthouse has had impressive growth in 2007 with more than 3500 companies signing up for its services, said Mark Wesker, Artifact’s CEO.  “This reflects the fact that software business models are changing. More companies are adopting and accepting Software as a Service solutions.”

Lighthouse is also available in a completely free solution that includes everything needed to manage tasks, resources, costs, schedules, requirements, testing, bugs, issues, documents and more.

Artifact has now delivered four major upgrades this year, with two more planned for 2007. These upcoming enhancements will include the Lighthouse open source web services API, integration with popular IDEs such as Eclipse and full project planning.
